1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use the website thefinanceclub.com.au, our calculators and our enquiry forms, including forms and finance badges on our partners’ websites and tablets. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

2. Who we are

The website is operated by The Finance Club Au Pty Ltd (ABN 83 703 443 887, ACN 703 443 887), trading as The Finance Club. We are an Authorised Credit Representative (credit representative number 582200) of AFAS Group Pty Ltd (ABN 12 134 138 686), Australian Credit Licence 414426.

3. Our services

Asset finance. For finance for cars, utes, vans, motorbikes, caravans, boats, trucks, trailers, equipment and machinery, we act as your finance broker. We will make reasonable inquiries about your requirements, objectives and financial situation, verify it, and help you apply with a suitable lender from our panel. We will give you our credit guide, and a credit quote if any fee is payable by you, before we provide credit assistance.

Home loans, commercial property and other finance. We do not arrange home loans, investment or commercial property loans, or other finance outside our authorisation. For these, we act only as a referral service: with your consent, we pass your enquiry to a licensed partner broker, who will give you their own credit guide and licence details. That broker, not The Finance Club, is responsible for the credit assistance they provide.

All finance is provided by third-party lenders and is subject to their credit assessment, approval criteria, terms and conditions, fees and charges. Submitting an enquiry does not mean you will be approved.

4. General information only

Information on this website is general in nature. It does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs, and is not financial, tax or legal advice. Consider whether it is right for you, and seek independent advice where appropriate.

5. Calculators and rates

Calculator results and repayment estimates are based on example interest rates and the figures you enter. They are estimates only, exclude fees unless stated, and are not a quote, an offer of credit or a comparison rate. Your actual rate and repayments depend on your circumstances and the lender.

6. Accuracy of information

We aim to keep the website accurate and up to date, but rates, lenders, products and other details can change without notice. We will confirm current details with you before you apply.

7. Your information

You agree that the information you give us is true, complete and your own (or that you have permission to give it). We handle your personal information in line with our privacy policy.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and calculators, is owned by or licensed to The Finance Club Au Pty Ltd and may not be reproduced without our permission.

9. Third-party websites

Links to other websites, including lenders and partners, are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Subject to those rights, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or reliance on general information or estimates on it.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
